“Prescribed Burning”
Prescribed burning is a very important tool in
the management of both Hardwood and Pine
stands. It is also the most-inexpensive
practice that is used to control inferior species
reduce forest fuels, clean up reforestation
sites, re-introduce native grasses and to help
with the overall ecology of the forest.
This practice may seem easy to implement,
however there is more to than just striking a match. Wade Hargrave, certified prescribed
burner, has met the required classroom instruction and also has the experience of
conducting prescribed burns. We also carry all the necessary insurance requirements that
is required by the state.

before any burn is conducted and a field inspection is also required.
